Try loading it through your media player , it works if you use it in Windows ,Mac I`m noy sure I had the same problem with Live 7 on windows

I was having the same problem , I have a Remote SL set to midi 1 with my Virus A , check on the Virus that it is not set to Midi thru , that was my problem all is sweet now

I have just bought a used Virus a and there was no cd software with it.
I have been to access site and downloaded the OS 2.8 and sounddriver and installed it oupon opening it a window pops up saying...
