I really like my Motif ES.
I really like my Virus C.
The two synths are really nothing alike in my opinion.
The Motif ES has 128 notes of polyphony, which is very nice.
The two work together wonderfully. I posted some music of my Motif (and also of the Virus C) in the user-music submissions thread here:

The songs aren't finished or polished, etc. but feel free to listen to if you like.
The Motif ES has very good bass lines and it has many excellent patches (voices).
