no worries. as for the manual sync, the drift is caused by the way the devices calculate the tempo. although computers (let's call them computer because that's what they are for: computing) are very precise, the crystals creating the clock are not that precise and therefore the timebases are slightly different. 120 bpm are not necessarily the same for 2 instruments.
