my uncle and I are rebuilding his studio (which is quite old
) and we're almost finished with isolation and room acoustics, we'll soon move to setup and installations, but before that, it is mandatory that we get rid of few oldies in the setup and/or complement few others with newer stuff!
the most urgent point is actually monitors! we thought it would be good to have more up-to-date monitors beside the lovely NS10s he used to work with. We were looking at the Genelec 1030AMP and thought they could be good for the DAW corner, and leave the NS10s for live sound taking and mixing.
Any advice folks ?
