Default Nord Leader!

I received this mail from a swedish friend of mine.

It's the latest to come out of Clavia. And fuck me, it looks nice!

This is the full keyboard version of the Leader series from Clavia. There's a rack and mini version too...

Sorry about the bandwitdh though guys, but I didn't want to shrink it too much for you - thought you'd want the detail. If you want the bigger pic, PM me and I'll email it to you.

Also if the picture isn't showing, wait till the next day. My picture server only allows a couple of meg transfer per 24 hours.

This is the mail.

Specs.

Firewire and USB conection with full VSTi intergration.
10 Balanced Analogue outs.
2 Balanced Analogue inputs.
Mic input.
Optical in/out.
70 voice.
Flashcard slot for memory and wave storage.
3 OSC with standard waves (also some special new waves to be released).
2 OSC with user import wavetable.
Velocity, aftertouch and off-velocity sensative keyboard.
Track ball control for wavetable section.
2 Nord mod wheels, but one of them is a continuous controller. (both can be assigned to any or all mod matrix destinations)
Wooden pitch control.
14 Filter types, 2 at once can be used.
Programmable appegiator. Programmed from included software.
96 band Vocoda.

That's about it at the time being S*****. One interesting features we maybe will include is abiltity to load in new synthesis types (aditive, sample playback and PCM) are being spoken about. These will go in the place of the Wavetable section - nothing set now though.

Sinceerely,
S****** Y******.
Looks damn fine!

I sent a mail back to him asking why they did show the thing at Namm. He said "We would never show a product at Namm that we couldn't have ready for release by the end of the show". Not like some company I know.
