Read books my friend. Also just sit down and enjoy the experience of making music. Experiment with different fx, eq, and remember to use your ear. Numbers are guidlines, you r ears are the deciding factor! Practice makes perfect! |
Thanks for the advise but people who state the blindingly obvious and offer no real help really irritate me. I do read heaps of books and I do enjoy the experience of making music.However I do not want to lose the music I have made thus far and books are not enough as they do not deal with specific details of different gear. If somebody was to set up a course for people to learn about different sorts of music hardware ie- virus synths etc. they would make a fortune.b
