Easy killer, you came off as a noob by pleading for help and asking for a mentor. I thought I might offer beginner advice, since it seems beginners want to learn everything overnight. That is why I threw out that suggestion. My apologies for irritating you.

What specifically are you wanting to know that you cannot find in a manual and time spent with the machine? Subtractive synthesis is the same priciple whether it is a nord, virus, Q, etc. . . . As long as you understand the priciples behind synthesis, EQ, compression, it should translate from one piece of kit to the next, except for maybe a few additions to certian pieces. I am not trying to bust your balls, just trying to find out what you are wanting to know so I can maybe offer advice.
