i think saba was referring to the fact that HC managed to remove one while playing 
some knobs will become fairly sticky with time - i recently removed a knob on a kb and it certainly required a deep breath....

Slightly OT, I've now aquired a few new pots (many thanks to Achim of
www.synthesizerservice.de !!) to replace a couple of wobbly pots on my Virus from the last owner. Got all the soldering equipment ready, now just trying to psyche myself up to actually do it sometime....
Will require many deep breaths, and three pairs of hands!! And a digital camera, of course.
