The Virus can sertainly be used for trance and techno but for a lot of other genres too. I would see no problem in using it for insustrial. You can get some pretty noisy, nasty and gritty sounds out of it that would fit into industrial quite well (especially if you make your own patches) but it can do a lot more than "dark and evil" sounds and noises (but it?s very good at that). I can?t really think of many genres where i wouldn?t find use for the Virus. Good luck waiting for the TI. Hope they release it some day
