What about clicking down on a "-Init-"-patch in the "multilist 1-16" and drag it to the patch who shall bee deleted in the my patches.mid?

yes, and drag and drop is suported so why not a little trashcan icon
Just discovered: Changing the name is posible while holding down "ALT" key when double clicking an a patchname
