might be interesting for cubase users
Well after some experiments and after reading sx2 manual I decided to go to device setup>vst multitrack>expert and set audio priority to Low. This prioritises midi tasks over audio and I can hear a very slight improvement in arp timing. Of course if you have many audio tracks on a current project this is not the optimum setting indeed but it sounds like a good idea when starting a project with virus. Haven't tried it with usb, only midi yet.
