Its o.k. everyone I got it working but I'm far too ashamed to say what I was doing doing wrong.
Its almost as worse as the time when I rang steinberg tech support cos i couldnt get get any sound from my synth from cubase.....They first asked me did i have the volume turned up on the synth.....I just hung up......and turned the volume up!!!!
But I did laugh to myself!!!
