Right i'm using Logic 5.5.1 so i'm sure you use the same principle for a Later version.
Start a instrument Track/part in Logic, for example audio instrument 20.this will be your main VIRUS CHANNEL (Channel Inst 20)it will also be Virus part/instrument 1.
So when you want the second part/instrument 2 in your Virus you start up another Track/part in Logic,we will make this Track/part 21,Ok everything clear so far??
Now you have Track/Part 21 in Logic and you want this to go to Virus instrument/part 2.Click on Part/Track 21 in the main Logic window so it is selected you will see your editing parameters on the left hand side.There is a setting for
CHA set this to inst 20 (bearing in mind you are still using Part/track 21) and then set your
Midi cha to 2

Now you want the third part/inst in your Virus so you start up another Part/track in Logic,we will make this Part/track 22,Still
with me??
Now you have Track/part 22 in Logic and you want this to go to Virus instrument 3.Click on Track 22 in the main Logic window you will see your editing parameters on the left hand side.There is again a setting for
CHA set this to inst 20 again and then set your
