Default Re: Anybody here using a Korg Kontrol 49?

yup, that's the way I did it - Korg into the computer via usb and
then midi from computer to Virus C. That way you can still
play the virus in realtime while recording your session
(midi and audio) simultaneously.

I'm just wondering how I'll be able to get MIDI info from the PC into the Virus (soundsets and things). Could I transmit this through the Korg? Or would it work better if the Korg was only connected to the computer via the USB, and the Virus was connected to the MIDI in/out of my audio interface?

Sorry, this question is worded pretty badly, but I'm struggling to get my head around the possibilities!
