I'm not 100% sure whether this would work but you could try xlutop chainer (
http://www.xlutop.com/html/chainer.html) or the energy xt vst plugin version (
http://www.energy-xt.com/index.php?id=0200).
There's a small chance those might work with sx1 meaning you can load your virus up in them instead of cubase. Don't hold me on that though test and see.
