Hi - I am a firm believer that everything in your studio has to justify it's place and if you don't use it - sell it (you can always buy it again later if you miss it). I always go back thru recorded tracks and see what gear is always used or not used and I have recently sold 7 or 8 synths that were simply never appearing on finished tracks. I have found that my Polar TI and Nord Electro 3 appear on every track even if it is just a 4 bar section - they are always there. I try to be strict and I have sold Dave Smith Poly Evolvers, Ms2000, Micron, Blofelds etc and to be honest I rarely miss them. Hope that helps!!
