They are the three, user configurable, so-called "Soft-Knobs". To modulate multiple destinations per knob, you allocate a MIDI CC number for one of the knobs, and then use the Modulation Matrix to use the CC number as a source and then set multiple destinations of your choice in the mod matrix.
