Default Focusrite Saffire LE - noise issue! partly solved

Hello I am going to crosspost this to gearslutz, but just for a general information, the Focusrite Saffire LE has a noise issue that can be easily solved simply by using 48KHz or 96KHz as samplerate! The incoming noise from AD/DA is reduced by a good 80%. The card firmware has been updated to 1.1 build 7442, I'm on PC btw, dedicated FW card w/VIA chipset, powered from computer (i.e. no external power supply attached to the Saffire). Don't know if this issue embraces also other Saffire audiocards, which still is the best sounding brand/card in my opinion!
Cheers

P.S. since probably it's a ground loop issue, I checked also this thread, which is very informative: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/low-e...e-6-noise.html
