Even though USB2 was already established the TI1 and TI2 used both USB1.1.
Next will be USB2.0.
And I´m very sure they won´t use USB3 or even Light Peak as long as
it´s not as established as USB2.0 is right now because they wouldn´t sell as
much (let´s just say) TI3´s as they´d like to.
A lot of people wouldn´t switch becaus of a TI3.
So in the end it´s money.
I think I´d be satisfied with 24 virtual Stereo Outs (48 real Mono!!) or maybe
even only 16 virtual Stereo Outa(32 REAL Mono!). That should do it.
