I find it hard to imagine that a file system has got anything to do with a tight arpegio...and in any case, FAT32 is not really an option for me these days.

If i remember rightly down at the Music show in Frankfurt at the start of the year i saw Nuendo (Which is what your using,Right?) and it looked a spitting image of Cubase so maybe you should have a bash with Cubase.

Yep, Nuendo is very much like cubase (witch I also own). unfortunately, cubase seem to exhibits the exact same symptoms as Nuendo in regards to the TI. it seems that some cubase users (like Ben) are able to have very good host sync and exports timing, while others seem to be struggling in that area. I`m only curious in regard to the other factors at play here...
