I would say 90% of the patches work, of those 10% are either inaudible or just sound plain shyte! However, the remaining ones are frikkin fanbloodytastic! Bearing in mind that I don't know what they're supposed to sound like...

I have so far loaded the following soundsets into my Virus b and am very happy with the results.

The new Sasha Involver soundset: The patch names are either buggered or maybe they just have a strange way of labelling the patches. They're all strange combos of weird characters. The Soundset itself I would say remains more or less intact, save the few patches here and there that sound like a dog licking it balls.

The patch naming for the rest all seem to be fine...

The Girl next Door soundsets: Sound great, although quite a few seem to use the new moog type filters, or so they are named and so I have assumed this. But even these patches sound enormous! Save once again the few here and there that sound like the mating call of an extra terrestrial being...

Depeche Mode soundset: I think there are only 16 sounds in this one but
I used this one first as I have the album handy. I thought this soundset would be the best judge of how vintage viruses interpret the TI's sounds.
I would say on about half of the patches, I couldn't tell any difference between what I heard on playing the angel and my virus b.

My reckoning is that even if they are different to the way that they are supposed to sound, I'm using them as a basis for further tweaking anyway and I think they sound great which is an excellent building block for further
programming.

I'm super stoked that Virus had the forethought to make TI patches backward compatible where possible. Big ups to you guys!
