I'd be damn skeptical. Any deal that seems too good to be true.... well...

But you never know. People have thier own reasons for selling stuff.

Have you spoken with the person by telephone? By asking a lot of questions quickly, some repeated, you might be able to draw him/her out if they are lying.

Have you verified the sellers name, address and phone number by phone book or internet search?

Can you get the seller to email you a photograph with the day's newspaper or something? (to prove it's theirs)

Has the seller given you a valid reason for using moneygram, rather than the more established paypal? Have you verified moneygram is legit?

Would the seller consider using an escrow service? (you would pay the extra for that.)
