it's just that most people now assume osx when you say logic. i didn't look through your old posts to see you're pc/logic5. anyway, i can now automate on track 1--the other tracks are there as submenus. i haven't done anything different. i just can[?]!!! so weird. yeah, the arp is really hit or miss...sometimes miss or miss. bounce to audio asap is my only solution.
