+1. I think we should first have a bit of a brainstorm (there's a patch name
), to determine different themes/ideas for future competitions and then periodically pick one of those for people to do. I don't think it should be too frequent (perhaps quarterly) as I can imagine that otherwise after a couple, people will lose interest and the numbers of submissions will drop.
Perhaps the previous winner could have the final say in the theme for the next one, once people have had a chance to make suggestions?
