Do you know if your internal battery has been changed, or could be pretty old? I've been having the same problem, because my battery is going flat and all the RAM patches keep disappearing. Virus Control sees a difference between the RAM and its record of patches and then thinks it has to re-synch everything.
Anyway, I'm finally fitting a new battery today, so I'll let you know if the problem stops immediately!
