You can on the Virus in multi mode. Not sure about VSTi (i use a Virus C) but i don«t see why you shouldn«t be able to. Set 2 or more parts to use the same MIDI channel. That should do it...

It means the first slot in the modulation matrix (MOD1). In the modulation matrix you can route control sources (like modwheel, breath, CC#, etc.) to synthesizer parameters (like filter cutoff, efx amount, filter decay, etc.). You have 6 slots in the modulation matrix. In every slot you can control up to 3 destination parameters with 1 control source (this is only true for the Virus TI, the older Virus«s have less destinations on the first 2 slots).
