Default Installing new sounds...

I've tried the manual and the message boards...

I am trying to load in the sounds I have downloaded.

MIDI Clock is disabled and Nuendo is playing back the MIDI file...

It appears that the keyboard is not recieving data.

Does it need to be in any certrain mode?

This should be a snap... what am I doing wrong?

You should try a search here as there are numerous threads that deal with this exact problem, and Im sure your answer is there too......

~Welcome to Planet Virus~

Anyways, one thing to check is that Nuendo is not filtering out any sysex messages. There should be some options in the preferences menu in Nuendo where you can check what kind of MIDI messages it is filtering out.........

There are also some settings in the Virus that need to be checked, and all of this information is covered in full in the manual.

Good luck!

Jason

The Virus should be shipped in a default setting to recieve incoming midi shit. if not do a soft restart (switch off virus and turn back on and at the same time hold down LFO shape button). Make sure that within your sequencer your audio interface is set as the designated midi interface. Load up the soundset into track one. Goto virus midi settings and select the option that forces sounds to bank A. Hit play on your sequencer and you should start to see it loading in.
