If you had to choose......
........would you be blind or deaf????
Im still not sure about this one......so many pretty girls to look at in Australia, especially in summer.
But then again, how could I enjoy my fave music.....
What about everyone else?

I voted for "my hearing". As Matsa said, it's more useful. Of course I couldn't be able to talk or enjoy music anymore, but I'd rather be able to read, move around easliy, enjoy visual aspect of women, etc...
Edit: It's funny that most usual sense loss is loss of taste. Or at least that's the only way I can explain why trance is so popular.

I'd rather not lose any of them, thanks! Otherwise, "hearing" would have to go.
I was born 100% deaf in my left ear, though. My right ear has a very 'colourful' hearing response too (-20dB dip at 2-4KHz, and -60dB loss from 8KHz upwards), so I guess overall I'm more than halfway deaf as it is.
I'd utterly hate to lose any of my vision, as it helps out massively to compensate the other shortcomings.
