New Order Rock....
I had a surprise birthday present on the weekend. My girlfriend got us tickets to the 02 wireless festival in London on friday.
New Order have long been my favourite band and seeing them perform was f*ckin' awsome.
They played loads of Joy Division tracks which I never thought I would get to hear live.
There's gotta be a few New Order fans here...

I do like Joy Division.....
But the New Order stuff was a bit un-imaginative IMO.....and I really think that the lead singer cant sing at all, especially live.

New Order (especially their early 80's Prophet 5 driven stuff) is great. Overall a good band.....let down by probably the worst sounding live singer ever...
Joy Division were excellant aswell

Yeah I agree Bernard can't sing, and his dancing is even worse. But still, amazing to hear tunes like Love Will Tear Us Apart, Atmosphere and Transmition.

Lucky man!
I wouldn't mind hearing a few songs live myself.

Blue Monday can be broken down into....
1) Classic Moog Source bassline
2) Classic Prophet 5 sync lead
3) Classic (and for the time, highly original) Oberheim DMX drum programming
4) Original composition
5) Atmospheric lyrics
6) Average production
All time classic really
