Default Blay - So did you outlay the cash or what?

Subject basicly says it all really.

But for those who are wondering on what he spent the money on...

A new TI.

You seemed a little undecided is all.....

Nice one Blay!

And maybe you can give us a real clue as to how buggy the Ti really is, and not just rant.

And after you have done that, maybe you can give us some samples of the hypersaw in a few settings - may as well do some wavetables as well now that I think of it.

Wave format would be nice please. No effects and no shorter than about 5 seconds.

Thanks in advance mate.

But ya gotta admit. If you'd bought the TI now for say around $2000 US and when you get it it's so crappy you can't really do anything with it.

Sure if you like digital-crackle-and-pop-syncproblem-glitch-music it seems to be the one synthesizer you need right now.

I can acctually really relate to people that are really sick after spending loads of cash on something that doesn't work

That's not a fair description of the current state of the TI.

Certain USB chipsets, BIOS settings, old drivers etc may be giving people some headaches, but the TI itself is by no means 'so crappy you can't really do anything with it'.

I am working successfully in two different hosts on the PC, with the occasional hiccup - something I'm used to experiencing anyway with VST plugs of all descriptions.

Aye, Ok. I admit that my statement was kinda rough - althou i wouldn't wanna spend so much cash on a synthesizer that isn't "fully" functional _yet_ (Access will with no doubt from my side fix all of these problems.. They've already built some fine machines).

What i mean is that - if i was out to buy some new gear i don't wanna really read up on if the equipment is compatible with my computer..

"Oh wait.. The Blarfg-synthesizer doesn't support my this and that in my computer.. oh heck.. i gotta buy a new this and that for my computer before i could use the hardware-synthesizer too 100%".

I've got (atleast) enough problems trying to find out if this soundcard would work on with my PC and if i choose to buy that soundcard what about my plans of maybe getting this piece and that piece.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

He's not doing perverse things DS. He's in there making our samples! Stop bothering him.

Remember, quality wave-files no shorter than 4 or 5 seconds.
