Greetings EarthPeople
Dear Forum,
DHL-Galactic have finally delivered to me my Virus TI Desktop, and I must say how splendidly splendid it is too. I am already deeply in lurve. I love it, I love it, I love it. I want it eventhough I've got it. I want to be with it all the time, I can't stop thinking it about - it's sleek little wooden ears and those winking lights - I'm sure it's trying to tell me something. I did take it to bed with me the first night I had it, and my wife understood. My God - I'm starting to cry...!
So, hello to everyone in Virus land! I don't think it's going to be too long before I start posting questions relating to this new love of my life.
My big problem so far is that it's taking me days and days to get through the manual - I just keep ending up playing with the sounds, and the hours slip away! Been a while since a new bit of kit has felt so inspiring!
For the geeks I am using the Virus in my project studio setup which is based around a home-built PC running XP(SP2). Host is Cubase SX3 (latest build). Soundcard is a 24 channel IF-FW/DM integrated into a Tascam DM3200 desk. Dual-head graphics, UAD-1 card. Coooooolio-Schmooolio!
Wanted to get my avatar up but don't understand how to..
That's it for now.
Peace and love to everyone!
And to my Virus - I am thinking of you....
