AYe, hate to admit it but that is good.

And yeah, can't see why those sounds shouldn't influence modern electronic music again today. And it has done, there's a lot of trance stuff that's used those raw octave, off-bass lines.
I think there's a lot of modern 80s stuff around without realising it. Remember Zombie Nation a while back, using a Commodore 64 SID chip (sid station). Loved that little track. Was fresh and cutting edge at the time, but when you think about it it's pure 80's, right down to the melody (as used in the C64 game Lazy Jones), but just hyped up and repackaged for the modern dance crowd. Loneliness by TomCraft was another massively successful track with the same sort of infective bass as the TransX track, with an almost 80's electro beat too.
Trying to find the direct link to download the TransX for us both, DigiS, but my computer's acting up, I can't view the html source. =/ Got loads of windows open atm.

A ribbon-controller or XY-Pad might be nice, too, please! Thanks!
