MATRIX
Why did the designer waste 6 LEDS and 3 buttons for the MATRIX section?.
These LEDS tells me nothing, only that slot 3 is assigned to something and slot 6 is Off, so what??? . Isn't it enough with the DISPLAY data?
Maybe I don't understand the point yet

Surely knowing what is on and what is off is better than having no idea and trapsing through menus, LEDs are the cheapest way of doing it.

OK, select a program, look at Your slot 1 LED, what is ON?
And 3 buttons to scroll between the slot parameters, the DESTINATION buttons is the same as the PARAMETERS buttons
It had been more usefull with buttons for "Arp Hold", and "ARP Lock"

What would have been exceptionally useful is if the matrix LEDS tracks the mods like the LFO/Input LEDS do.

I only said it is useful to know they are on. Admittedly it could be more useful, but how are they supposed to show which of the hundreds of paramaters are affected?
I still think the LED's aren't useless.

I think my TI has enough LED's to play a pretty good game of pacman on.

I agree. It?s nice to know if there is "somthing" assigned. Istead of looking in the menu to see if there is something assigned you can say "oh, nothing in slot 3, then i don?t have to look there" or "hmm, something in slot 5, better have a look". Nothing else...
