Default MOTU Express 128 XT USB ?

Anyone got one of these, especially on a PC via USB?

If so have a few questions as am thinking of one:

1. Whats its nerge functionality like - basically how many independent merges can you set up? Is it just the usual 1, with any combo of ins and outs?

2. Can it independently of its merge function, route midi clock and/or mmc to selected or all devices from a selected device? Will it still honour and merge patch routing alongside the clock routing? How useful and flexible is its sync capability? This function is why I am intrested in it to replace my UM880, else Ill just stick with the UM880.

3. How dependent upon the computer is it for patch bay selections? Can you load pre-saved patches from the panel only, or can you create and save patches from the panel?

4. Whats its USB driver reliability and latency like on WinXP+SP2?

I currently have an Edirol UM880 - good drive/latency, nice patch bay functions, only one meger function though and does have a filter, but I find I use the merge mainly for routing clocks and merging woth controller keyboards which gets in the way of other merges I would to do. + it seems to send controller resets on patch changes (which messes up
merged clock continuity).

Or - does anyone know if an english manual can be downloaded from anywhere (as cant find one on the MOTU web site)?

Thanks
K
