Default Anyone tried using web based free telephoning?

jajah.com got a big mention on BBC World last week. Just had a look today and they're upgrading it, but sounds like the answer to my prayers. I get a fucking massive bill every month calling family and mates in UK. Anyone tried it yet?

I had a buddy whi used wonage here in the states. He liked it. It was not free (i think around $30 a month). But he had family in central america and only paid $30 a month. It was voice over IP and he said he couldnt tell the difference.

agreed. I have used vonage as well and it works pretty good. Just make sure your internet connection is fairly stable

Yeah, we use Skype at home. Free between other Skype users too. We even use the laptop mic/speakers and they cant tell the difference on the other end.

Yep, I just tried Skype last night. Rang to a regular landline and it was quite clear and solid. At € 0.017 a minute from Japan to Ausi, it's very fucking cheap!

Skype to Skype is of course free. Can't beat that price!
