Erhm.. That's so wrong in so many ways!

I wouldn't blame anyone specific other than politics and religion. These two factors are really to blame for alot of crap going on in the world nowadays.

My neighbourhood is going apeshit right now though and has been caught in a bad circle the last few years.. I mean, a friend of a friend got shot in the arse for 200:- SEK (~€22/$30) just yesterday. Another friend was almost stabbed in the throat because "You stole my seat.. You bastard!" while being in the pub having a beer.

No respect, no love, drugs and just people feeling down/other problems and not getting the right help is the main problem in Sweden.

I almost got into a fight New Years Eve because these kids from the age 10 up to 14, were lighting these rockets and just threw them around and ran like hell. One rocket exploded just outside my window so I went outside and said to the group of ~15-20 people; "Don't do that.. I will find you.. I know who you are and I know most of your bigger brothers and you'll pay for the damage and besides it's illegal to shoot fireworks around here and you'll need an permit just to fire an single rocket everywhere else and I betcha that not a single one here is 18, so just you guys having this firework is illegal aswell"

And the first answer I get goes like this; "This is Sweden so if you don't got a photo showing my face and the rocket.. You can't do shit about it and besides it's not like robbing a bank, so the worst punishment I'd recive would probably be ['Don't do that in the future']".

And the worst thing is that he's right, I know his bigger brother that said it.. His older brother robbed an small store with an knife and badly beat the person. He got 11 months for it.

Another friend of mine stabbed an person in the neck and then chased him for ~200 meters and screaming "I'll kill ya!" for no reason whatsoever (Yes, for no reason whatsoever). He got 14 months in an minimumsecurity-prison.. The guy he stabbed was hospitalised for ~4 months after the event and still has problems.

It sounds like my old friends are really crazy idiots, which they are.. But if they recived the help they needed from the start when things were going wrong for them.. I betcha things would be alot different for them and as I still live in my neighbourhood I grew up in I see most of my old friends from time to time and we'll have a chat about life and stuff. Just today I met my oldest (and once closest) friend, oh man. He's been using methamphetamin for years now and has been in jail several times and been messing around with gangs and such but it was nice to see him "sober" once but it's just an question of time before he goes back to his "old roots".

In America there is still alot of racism, and inequality towards blacks. Same here in Australia with the Aborigines. Most of the ones you are talking about live in some really shitty places, living way below the bread line, and this drives them towards crime and drugs. They are uneducated, have histories of family/domestic violence etc...

I guess we should all be lucky that we have families that love us...

Okay, if you are genuinely ignorant then the answers to your questions are...

African nations are fucked because Eupropean nations colonised them, sliced the continent up according to their whims ignoring any tribal boundaries. Plundered their resources then left. After that western nations have sold them lots of weapons lending them the money to do so leaving them up to their necks in debt then only helping them out (The World Bank/IMF) if they promise to introduce economic plans that are not in the countries best interests, i.e. forcing them to grow cash crops instead of food to feed their populations.

African Americans communities have high crime rates because that is what happens when you have large disenfranchised populations of poor people living in specific areas. It is not unique to black people, look at housing estates all over the UK for examples of this. The attitude problem is also a symptom of this.

And not all hip-hop is fucking horrible, just the majority of the commercial crap and that is the same for any genre.

Ledge mate. I honestly have 3 very good African mates here and we often talk about the above. There must come a time when one stops blaming other generations and try and make the best of things. Nevertheless, many African countries are plagued by corruption, nepotism, misoginism and generally bad water to this day. South Africa has a murder rate 10x higher than that of LA.

Why the situations in Somalia? Sudan? etc etc? You don't see Norwegians getting all fucked up cos there's oil there?

Time to see it for what it is and stop feeling guilty. Otherwise, sell your Virus and give the money to Mugabe.

There is no end to this suffering because we can't see further than our wallets and our dicks.
