Virus KC - syncing to Logic 8's clock

Hey guys, first post on this forum.

Is there a way to Sync a KC's clock to Logic Studio's clock so I can sync tempo, arps, lfos etc etc?

Im using a Echo Audiofire 12 interface. I'll be switching midi across to a Unitor 8 soon. Is there a better midi interface on the market or do the unitors still own it?

Also, how can I automate the KC's controls through logic? Obviously via the standard automation process in logic like you would any other soft synth, however is there a way to transfer the CC numbers into standard names ie, cut off 1, res 2 etc etc? I just don t know what the hell im automating. If im way off here pls let me know.
