Default Hi! Glad to have found you all..

Just a note to introduce myself. Just purchased an Indigo 2 in great condition. I do not really remember seeing one in any of the stores when they were new, so I am really surprised at the solidness of this synth. It seems like its built like a tank.

Anyway, it sounds great and is certainly going to satisfy the yearning I've had for years for a VirusC.

Welcome Bruce!

That's great you got an Indigo, you will LOVE IT!!!

Check out the massive collection of sounds on the Access site for a test drive of what the beast can do.

You can load them in with Window Media Player buy just playing the files once your MIDI port that is connected to the Indigo is selected as your Windows MIDI device in Control Panel->Sounds & Audio Devices.

Anyhow, that's enough of that.

Cheers!

-Alex

Thanks all.

cubedecibel, the TI is a wonderful beast, indeed.

Alex, I went round and round with Windows Media Player, SoundDiver and Sonar when I first got the Indigo. The previous owner had ver 5.5 on it and I wanted to upgrade to 6.5 -- since I had bought it to compliment my Voyager RME and Little Phatty (that's heresy in some circles, I know!).

Would you believe that I could not get the Indigo to upgrade? It would just stop updating and freeze up, no matter what BPM or program I was using.

Turns out that the MIDI interface the M-Audio PCI Delta 1010LT was the problem. I dug out an old 2x2 USB MidiSport and tried that, and had nary a problem updating the OS.

Thanks again, bruce
