Default VC-freezing in Sonar8

plz help! i have freezing problems using VC2.7.5 in Sonar 8 Studio. i can use Sonar with different plugins (even Reason 4.0) without any problem. if i insert VC i hear freezing within few measures. the song than moves on, but without any sync. i use an older dual core 2Ghz intel, 2 GB RAM, but in the moment of freezing only 20-30 % is used of the cpu. any solution? shall i change sg?
is it VC, Sonar or CPU?

I'm sorry guys for the previous question, but it seems freezing in every situation. So it must be an incompatibility between Sonar/VC and the old cpu/motherboard.

I have Sonar 8 myself and don't have problems with freezing. Like you I have VC 2.7.5 and an even older motherboard (P4 3Ghz). Do you freeze real-time?

It must be the PC/Sonar as it happens when VC uses not usb but hardver outputs also....
but really, only when i play back songs. i have never had this real time-what does that mean?
(sorry but i am not a processor-professor)
thanks
