Default UNSOLVED -CLICKING CLIPPING NOISE VIRUS KC

I AM EXPERIENCING A CLIPPING OR CLICKING NOISE ON SOME SOUNDS IN MY VIRUS KC. IS THERE A WAY TO ADJUST INTERNAL VOLUME THAT WILL MINIMIZE THIS? I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE.

THANKS, JOE

I have the same problem with my Virus KC. I'm going to use it as my live keyboard... not good!

Same problem here with VIRUS RACK... actually there's a master volume in the Rack version, dunno about other versions. The clipping is especially loud in sounds like Ouverture K, which saturate the sound in the audiocard without going to clipping the signal. How weird. I think that the problem is within the VIRUS itself, it's some kind of unwanted internal distortion due to oversaturating the A/D D/A converters... probably UNSOLVABLE.

Hi,

I don't know your problem and i m sorry that i can't help you. I hope you will solve it, but I wonder if anybody of you can help me : I just bought a second hand virus kc one week ago, it s my second hardware sytnh after the microkorg. I found the sound synthesis really great but I don't know yet the keyboard setup. I m going to have a rehearsal with my band this saturday and i d like to play two different sounds from the virus, one on each part of the keyboard. Is this possible with the virus ? If yes, could you explain me how i can take the sound for example sound c36 and b41 and do this ?
Thank you very much.
