Default blortblort says howdy!

Hi All!
While I have been a member since 05, I have sadly NOT been active here ...at all, really. For that, i apologize!
I have been active musically since 1970, so that probably makes me the oldest in the room
Anyway....I've been active with music AND computers since 1995 when I was using Voyetra's Sequencer Gold and a AT&T 5MHz (!!!) 8086 computer to make some pretty nice stuff (for that time)
Needless to say, things have come a long way since then... and when I saw the adverts in 2005 for the TI, I thought that FINALLY...we were there!
...well...it took a while, and there were growing pains, and I have to say that Access is a company that DOES listen to it's user base. They've always tried to address the issues AND with each new OS, there always seems to be something new (formant and granular!) and super cool (Atomizer!!)!....but with the OS3 for the TI, it's finally teh goooood stuff! What an amazing machine! Early adopters like me and new buyers alike DO get their money's worth.

I own a lot of vsti's (including most of the NI stuff and Uhe's Zebra2) and while I do love them very much, over the past year I have rekindled the love for the TI that I had when I first saw those adverts in 2005.
I mean...just the new delay algorithms alone are worth the wait.
slowly, the TI IS making its way into my musical workflow and vocabulary... and it is no longer a fancy sample generator! it IS a music MACHINE!

here are a couple of links to let you know the sorts of noises I create (yeah... my "artist name" = Madder Than You):
with others who are FAR more talented
mostly left to my own devices. some collab...

thanks for listening/reading

2005... that's a good stretch!

Glad you made the Sunesha > Infekted jump.

Really liked the tropical tribal forest feel of Rorschach.
