Default Forced to update through Virus control center

Odd problem this...I install the latest software release...install runs fine, virus is found and put in update mode, then firmware update begins but it doesn't seem to finish properly.

The installer gets to the finish point, but the virus is still expecting to complete an OS update.

The only way to get the virus to complete its update is through virus control center via the OS updater section...this surely isn't normal???

I have successfully updated before via the installer, admittedly on a different machine but still, this seems odd.

Anyone else had this? Any suggestions? I am never entirely confident that it is propery updated.

Also, since OS 3.1.00 I am getting sync errors...a trade off from the sneezing issue. Never had sync errors with OS 3.03??? This was all on the same hardware.

Intel Core 2 Extreme X9650 3Ghz
4 GB Ram
Nvidia chipset - all latest drivers installed
Vista 32 (SP1)
Ableton Live 8.04

Please note that the above configuration worked fine at Virus OS 3.03.

Help!!!

OS 3.2.07 Beta works!!! Whats going on here!?! Still had to update the same way though...wondering if this is a usb connection issue?! Would make sense being a different PC used to install the update I guess!

Nightmare...seems now that the only way I can complete any update is through the Virus Control Center!!

I am going to try this on another machine soon just to rule it out, but to be honest, I can't see why it would be the PC causing the issue.

Strange!!!
