Marc @ Access has recently stated that the TI2 wont be taken anywhere that the TI1 wont. So the only difference that will exist between them is polyphony. This may hint that the TI2 might only have ever been meant as a "refresh" of the TI, maybe to tide them over for one or two years, and that a real successor to the TI may become available at some point after that, but this is pure, absolute, wild speculation on my part.
Whole heartedly I'd say go for it now KLP. The TI will already do everything you need and will never become 'obsolete' in terms of sound quality due to its versatility and quality of the sound engine. The breadth of synthesis features on the TI is incredible. And a successor may take years to arrive.
Access is all about software (tied to hardware), and I feel they may have more in store for the TI/TI2 yet.

PS > And another thing! Will the Ti|3 have user customisable/importable wavetables? A ribbon-controller or XY-Pad might be nice, too, please! Thanks!
