PlugIn Latency

Im investigating something which is useful to know about the virus ti.

I have both Cubase4 and Ableton Live8 and use an Emu audio module and do not use the Ti as an audio card.

My question is this:

Can the latency of the "plug-in" be adjusted in the ASIO driver control panel of the Ti when another audio card is used?
Also.... Is there any way of getting to the Ti's ASIO panel if not selected by your DAW as its Audio I/O?

Does anybody know?... my suspicions are that it does but not absolutely sure and this way its possible to reduce the latency of the plug-in when using the USB outs instead of the Analog Outs. The latency with USB out is noticeble in my set up but not abhorent. So i tend to use the analog Outs.
