Default Max for Live device to control Virus C

Hey Folks,

like a lot of other people I´m trying to use my Virus C as much as I can inside my DAW, I´m also a Snow Owner but the C still is my favorite.
But to make it really handy I´d love to use it like I use my Ti, of course!
Is anyone here in the same position and uses ableton aswell?
I´m a m4l user and I found some devices that give you parameters to control some of the midi value of the C, but by far not all of them.
I´d love to a device that was created for the exact purpose of controlling a Virus C, so if you know one?

I have one device called Virus-C.1.2 which is allready quite good, but is buggy and not always working right, for example, the LFO routing to filter is more jeopardy.

Any thoughts, hints, links are well appreciated.

Have a good one.

what kind of bugs are you getting with your patch? I just started making a patch for my Virus C this afternoon and it looks like its going to be a little tedious to get all the main CC's in there but ill hope to finish it tomorrow.Im also trying to include bank and program control in the patch as well.

This link from sound on sound was also very helpful. It relates directly to the dsi evolver but no reasonthe theory cant be applied to the Virus C.

So for the past few weeks I have been working to finish my MaxForLive patch to control the Virus C and I finally think I have a usable version

Virus Controller uses CC messages to control the synth parameters in real time. I have included all midi parameters from the Virus C manual including the effects section of the synth in Single patch mode. Also included are Bank / Program selection menus. Program selection has been limited to program values at the moment.

I hope to include program names, in addition to Multi-Mode control the next version.

Feedback or feature requests would be appreciated.

seems interesting. will test this later on for sure. What about the third oscillator? You asked for requests

and... is it responsive with automation?

I will double check on this later but I do believe I included a sub Osc knob in the org. patch. Also, it does respond well to automation. Let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks!!!

I meant the third oscillator, and perhaps you could include the possibility to sync it with the second - like you can do setting it's mode to "follow", also present on other "Virus C controllers" (I'm thinking rekon audio's here, even though I never tested it myself).

It's great news it responds well to automation, will certainly make use of it! Thanks again!
