Korg MS2000B
I thought I should buy one. It sounds amazing. I?ve tried the older version (MS2000R) and I really liked it (I don?t know about the keyboard though). I didn?t have enough money to buy it then and I kind of forgot it.
What do you think? I don?t mind the polyphony. I allready have enough in my two Viruses. I just need something different. MS2000B or BR (I like the design of the keyboard version so I think I choose it before the rack.)? Is it worth it???

I like them too.
I wouldn't buy one of the B series though, because if you can find an old stock model around they are really cheap. Plus they are almost identical.
I was looking at grabbing one before I found the auction site with old analogue gear here in Japan.

What are exactly the differences in the two machines. I noticed that the old version is very much cheaper. I don?t want to buy it 2nd hand though. I hope they are selling it in the future too.

Bellow are the specs I grabbed from the Korg site. They are pretty damn similar! I've heard the 2000B comes with better pre-sets programmed though, but maybe the 2000 can support patches made on the 2000B - I'm not 100% sure on that one though.

Amazing isn't it!
If you look at the dimensions section u can see that one list is the 2000 and one is the 2000B.
I don't know why they bothered to bring it out homestly!
I think the only noticeable difference is the mic stand built-in.

and if i was you unio mystica - i would look for it second hand..
Here in sweden for example MS2000r goes for around 2000-3000:- SEK [in mint condition of course] and the MS2000 keyboard version cost like 3500-4000:- SEK for that price you could buy 2 ms2k, 8 voices and so on.. 2 virus and 2 ms2k - nice setup haha..
i wish i had money.. the prices is really great right now.. Nord Modular key _with_ expansion, gigbag, cables and so on for 4500:- SEK yesterday - it was sold pretty fast thou.. i know the seller

I've heard form the ms2000 group that someone asked the difference of the b OS. He got a reply that said," It says ms2000b on the startup screen." Or something like this. They are identical.
The b is black and has an xlr direct mic input.
You can load the ms2000b new sound set to the older ms2000.
