Vocoding Clarity
Hi everybody!
I am currently making a song using Virus' vocoder but the final signal coming out is way too blurry(i cant understand what it says when i'm done)
I've tried changing the VOC preset, i changed to a better mic, equalizing...how do i make it clear what i say and still keep the "robot" feel???
Please

You cant get any kinda of clarity with the Virus vocoder. If you want robotic 80's style vocoding you should maybe check out the Korg MS2000 (hell you get a synth bundled with it too). The Virus vocoder sucks for vocals imho.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

Damn cant afford it
Know of any vocoding software with clarity?
Or do i need the Ms2000/MicroKorg to do it?
By the way, it is that 80's feel i need, i'm working on a real 80's song

NI vokator is one of the best soft vocoder. It has like 1024 bands plus granular and synth capabilities.

Yup, I second this for sure.
The Virus vocoda was such a disapointment.

By the way, would the Korg Wavestation make the 80's sound?

It should be in the box that the software came in.
