HELP: Virus KC and Sonar 5
Greetings!
I have a quick question that I'm sure has been beat to death, but I have to ask. I am pretty new to the home studio and I have finally got mine up and running. Sonar 5 Access Virus KC v.6.5 MOTU 828 MKII Novation Drumstation T.C. Electronics FireworkX My question is this: How do I use the Virus with a sequencer? I would like to play different parts (sounds) on different channels, and I haven't been successful yet. The manual talks about using the M0 "sequencer". I can get that far but I can't change the sounds. Do I have to always use M0 or can I define my own midi channels (which I'm sure I can)? At this point, this is the only thing holding me back from putting a song together. Thanks so much for your help! This is a great site!
