I read a few rumors a while back now, but it's nice to see that it is actually a reality!
Hope I get a hands on in the near future!
Still quite pricey though.....

Looks great. However doesn't it have a noise generator? IMO that is a must in any analog synth.

No noise generator?! That sucks I think it?s way too pricy for a pretty simple analog monosynth. Yes it?s analog and yes it?s Moog but still I like the name "Little Phatty" though

Its like the Emperors new clothes, $1400 for a bloody mono-synth.
Christ we must have short memories.
Dave Smith needs a good slap too, 4-voices for $1600.
Mono synths have always been a bit of a technological dead-end.
Any decent poly-synth can emulate the best mono, so they're all essentially kitsch fashion items, hence the Emperors new clothes comparison.
NO mono synth is worth more than $500 unless its bloody gold-plated !

Aye. 'budget'-synthesizer my ass and for a bigger picture of my ass, click here
I say, sure it probably sounds sweet but not being able to twist the cutoff-knob along with the resonance-knob is a big failure aswell as getting some other nice 'live' tweaks.

check out the bottons and design and also the led knobs,
clavia NL rip off!
they just took the same old filter and oscilator designed and played around with it and gave it a big price tag, no thanx!
btw, mono evolver rack is totaly worth its price even tho its monophonic IMO.

You're right! After looking at that huge pic that 303 linked us to, those buttons really do look as if they've come straight off a Nord. Well that's one way to save a few bux.
