Another TI Polar Demo
With it being a cold and rainy weekend here in Chicago, I found some time to play around with my Polar again. Since I received so many kind comments about my first Polar demo song (thanks, everyone), I decided to compose and record another.
http://homepage.mac.com/mwalthius/Wa..._TI_Demo_2.mp3
For this piece, I couldn't help but add drums using a few kits from my Yamaha Motif (the RockMono1, HouseKit1, and Big Kit). Other than the drums, all of the other tracks are my TI Polar. Patches used:
Brash HS
DrWhat?HS
Sledge BC
Nocoder HS
basting zs
Showbiz MW (mine)
Softie MS
Neurons SV
AnyMusic HS
RezBass HS
DX-File HS
PluxOr SV
Jaco M
Pianu BC
KE9Lead JL
TiBell SV
This was recorded using Digital Performer 4.61 with a TI Polar running in Sequencer Mode. No external effects were used (other than Masterworks Limiter on the MP3 export). Enjoy!

Im only listening on crappy laptop speakers at the moment but it sounds great! I will definately have another listen when I get back into the studio...
I posted your other Ti demo over at VSE (Vintage Synth forums) and was surprised by the amount of people saying they never thought a Virus could do those types of sounds...
Hopefully turn some more non-trance producers onto the Virus

very nice.........there might be a goa/psy trancer lurking in you waiting to arise and come out, yet! Goa Gil is over 50 and still a big part of the trance scene.....
also the production sounds great.

Great demo!
What part of Chicago are you from by the way? I'm in the suburbs right now, but I used to live in Lincoln Park for a while...I commute these days

Thanks to all of you for the words of encouragement! I am really having fun with these Access synths, but just wish I had more time to play with them,
